New Trailer For Netflix’s Okja

For his follow-up to the absolutely fantastic Snowpiercer, Boog Joon Ho is heading to Netflix with Okja, the simple tale of one girl and her pig hippo thing on the run form the evil corporation that wants to turn it into food. The latest trailer has arrived, and simply wonderful is the only way to describe it.

Okja seems to play like a monster movie version of E.T., and if that doesn’t make you wait for its release with bated breath, I don’t know what will. The design and execution of the title creature is pretty impressive, as is the cast including Paul Dano, Jake Gyllenhaal, Giancarlo Esposito (if the name doesn’t ring a bell, Gus from Breaking Bad), and Tilda Swinton in full-on megalomaniacal CEO mode.

Okja is released worldwide on Netflix June 28th.
